Viko Yachtwerft in Poznan (POL) already has two boats in this size segment in its existing range, the Viko 20 and the sportier Viko 22, and is now adding the new Viko 21s to the programme. The target group for the youngest boat in the range: beginners and families with an active, sporty lifestyle. The design, developed in-house by the shipyard in Poland, features a strikingly high-sided design with a pronounced full stern and striking chine edges. This is intended to give the boat a high degree of dimensional stability and provide plenty of volume below deck.
The Viko 21s is optionally available with a swivelling ballast keel (with additional laminated internal ballast) or with a sporty T-shaped lifting keel. In both versions, the minimum draught is just 0.25 metres, which makes slipping and towing easy. The rudder system is only attached to the stern and can be removed with a flick of the wrist. The mast can also be folded on deck via a hinge and can be positioned and laid by two people. However, if you want, you can also get a jib system. The layout on deck has been arranged by the shipyard in such a way that even single-handed sailors and inexperienced crews will find it easy to handle.
Inside, the Viko 21s has a surprisingly spacious interior with a double berth forward and a large, transverse berth (2.00 x 1.60 metres) in the stern for two people. The living space below deck is complemented by a small galley block with a cooking option, a saloon area with a fixed, folding table and a separate wet room. However, the toilet (chemical or with tank) is not included in the standard equipment and must be ordered as an extra.
Dealer André Hochfeld from Yacht dealership Hamburg is currently still offering the Viko 21s for a very favourable introductory price of 12,990 euros (gross, including sails). The current price list is valid until at least the end of April.
